1970s

Sight & Sound’s first official location, Living Waters Theatre, opens in 1976. Throughout the 1970s, nine different multimedia productions grace the stage. Special effects include live music and choreographed water fountains, hence the theater’s name!

1980s

Multimedia fountain shows continue to play on the Living Waters stage. Then in 1987, Sight & Sound produces its first ever full-length biblical production, BEHOLD THE LAMB. This sets in motion the Sight & Sound many are familiar with today.

1990s

Sight & Sound expands to a larger location, one mile down the road, with the opening of the Entertainment Centre in 1991. While multimedia and full-length productions continue to play at Living Waters, two new revue-style shows premiere at the Entertainment Centre throughout the 1990s. In 1995, the full-length biblical production NOAH premieres at the Entertainment Centre. And with that, our calling is discovered—bringing the Bible to life on stage.

Since its premiere in 1995, NOAH has become a beloved family favorite and continues to be in our ongoing repertoire of shows.

In 1996, MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS is the final show to premiere at the Entertainment Centre.

2000s

In the 2000s, we continue producing shows for both Living Waters and the Millennium Theatre in Lancaster.

2010s

The start of the 2010s ushers in the next generation of Sight & Sound shows. With the closing of Living Waters, we focus on bringing the Bible to life on a wraparound stage with a deeper focus on story, music, and spectacular special effects.
