The show must go on! We rarely cancel shows due to the weather. However, your safety is our utmost concern! If you believe severe weather will prohibit you from attending the show, please call (800) 377-1277 to discuss your situation with a customer service representative.
Missing any part of the show is no fun! While we understand this and would love to seat you immediately if you arrive late, we’re not always able to do so.
In order to ensure the safety of all our guests, actors, and animal actors (who use the aisles in darkened show conditions), the theater doors close promptly at show time. Please know that we may not be able to seat you until intermission. To get the most out of your Sight & Sound Theatres experience, please plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled performance.
We love that you want to make us a part of your special event. To submit your request and learn more information about our non-profit donation process, please visit www.sight-sound.com/donations.
There are times when tickets may become available on the day of the show due to cancellations. We encourage you to keep checking back on our website for any last-minute availability.

We have great relationships with many fantastic bus companies. However, we do not promote or endorse any individual operator or business. The American Bus Association (ABA) has some handy resources that can help you locate a motorcoach company in your area. You may visit them online at buses.org or call them at 1-800-283-2877.
As a family business that values quality family time, we delight in creating memorable experiences for the entire family. Children of all ages are welcome. However, since the shows run approximately 2 ½ hours in length, we have found they are best suited for children aged 5 and up. Should your child become restless or need a break, we do offer a Family Room at both the Lancaster and Branson theaters, where you can watch a live video feed of the show.
For the safety of our guests and actors, we do not allow large items such as car seats, strollers or baby carriers into the theater. However, we do offer booster seats so that children can have the vantage point they need to enjoy the show. If you have a young child that becomes restless during the performance, you’re welcome to accompany your child to our Family Room as needed, where you can watch a live video feed of the show.
We love having children at the shows, but we also understand that sometimes kids will be kids. To give all of our guests the best possible experience, we offer a Family Room where you and your child can retreat from the show if they need a break. Our ushers may help guide you to this area should your child become restless. While in the Family Room, you can continue to watch the show via a live video feed of the show.
Although the shows are best suited for ages 5 and up, children of all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 3 may sit on a parent’s lap and do not require a ticket. Children aged 3 and older do require a ticket and their own seat.
We offer booster seats to provide young children with the best possible view. If you think your child may need a booster seat, please speak with one of our ushers when you arrive. Should your child become restless or need a break, we do offer a Family Room at both the Lancaster and Branson theaters, where you can watch a live video feed of the show.
Each show is approximately 2 ½ hours long and includes a 20-minute intermission.
The concession stands at both theaters serve light fare such as snacks and beverages. The menu varies based on location and season. Guests are welcome to enjoy concessions items inside the theater during the show. Be sure to try our signature roasted almonds as the perfect treat to accompany your viewing experience!
If you have a known allergy to nuts, please be advised that our signature almonds are roasted and sold in the theater lobbies. Additionally, the concessions areas process products that contain peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, wheat, and sesame. We cannot guarantee that the products are free from cross-contamination of the top nine allergens. During your visit, please talk to one of our concessions team members to discuss safe food options for your family. We welcome guests with special dietary needs to bring their own snack items into the theater.
There is no dress code for the shows. Whether you choose to dress up or dress casually, we look forward to having you as our guest!
Both theaters are designed to accommodate guests who require wheelchairs or mobile transport and their companions. Our guests have options for wheelchair-accessible parking, restroom facilities, and theater seating.
Not all seating is wheelchair-accessible, so it is important for you to request special accommodation when ordering your tickets. If you or someone in your party must remain in a wheelchair during the show, please call (800) 377-1277 to make your reservation.
We welcome trained ADA service animals into our theater. Not all seating is suitable for service animals, so it is important for you to request special accommodation when ordering your tickets. If you or someone in your party must be accompanied by a service animal during the show, please call (800) 377-1277 to make your reservation.
The animals you see on stage are an integral part of the Sight & Sound Theatres family, and our family is always growing! Both theaters have animal care facilities, where the animals live, train, and enjoy outdoor grazing pastures. Our animal caretakers and trainers are passionate about their furry counterparts, giving each one a name that fits their unique personalities. Our most recent animal performers include pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, camels, cattle, donkeys, horses, dogs, cats, skunks, macaws, rabbits, and alpacas.
Capturing photos and videos of your Sight & Sound visit is a great way to remember and share your experience. Feel free to use your camera right up until the start of the show. During the performance, photography and video are not permitted.
Strobe lights, high resolution LED screens, and atmospheric effects such as fog, rain, and snow are used throughout our productions. For more information about the effects used during your specific performance, please call us at (800) 377-1277.

Sight & Sound is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all at our theaters. To help uphold that experience, we have the following security measures in place:
Evolv security screenings: Each guest will walk through a state-of-the-art sensor and imaging system prior to entering the theatre. Evolv provides a safe way to screen for weapons without employing a metal detection system.
Bag policy: Guests are welcome to bring one bag measuring 15’’x15’’ or smaller into the theater. Please note, suitcases, duffle bags, coolers, large tote bags, backpacks, and oversized purses larger than 15” x 15” are not permitted. Guests with bags larger than 15’’ x 15’’ will be asked to return the bag to their vehicle before entering. Exceptions to the policy will be considered for diaper bags and medical items. Sight & Sound reserves the right to inspect any bag.
Weapons policy: Guests are not permitted to bring dangerous weapons of any kind into the theater. If you are unsure about an item, please leave it at home. Only active law enforcement personnel are permitted to carry a firearm into the theater, but they must check in with security before entering.
Sight & Sound has a full-time, trained security staff on patrol at all times. We also work with outside security experts and local law enforcement to ensure the safety of everyone who visits. Electronic surveillance is used across all properties, 24/7. We appreciate your support in helping to keep Sight & Sound Theatres an enjoyable and safe experience!
Producing a new show is no small feat. The entire process—from initial concept to opening day—spans four years, with nearly all the work being completed by Sight & Sound employees. This includes story development and script writing, set and costume design and construction, choreography and staging, animal training, casting, and rehearsals.
Music is an integral part of every Sight & Sound show, and all vocal performances happen live on stage. However, the original soundtracks are composed and recorded prior to the opening of the show.
Thank you for your interest in joining our cast! Please visit our auditions page to see a full list of opportunities and to learn more about our audition process.
